Korn defined nu-metal 22 years ago with the release of their 1994 debut album. Now that the genre is old enough to have a kid of it’s own, the band continue on, but have influenced a lot of newer bands, or nu nu-metal if you will. YouTube musicians Pete Cottrell, i have gotten together to make “Korn In A Nutshell,” which encapsulates the band’s career in 1:30. Borrowing liberally from “Blind” and “Freak on a Leash,” there’s an Adidas tracksuit, some scat singing, super downtuned bass and even some dubstep wub wubs. In all, pretty ambitious for a little over a minute.

The collective take time at the beginning of the video to post a disclaimer that this video is not to be taken seriously and that they love Korn, probably to prevent themselves by getting doxxed by angry Korn fans. Hell, we’ve seen Paulicelli’s other work, so we know he likes Korn.
