Violence

Tonight was a night that many in the New York Hardcore community had been looking forward to for some time: the CBGB Fest show at Webster Hall featuring performances from Vision of Disorder, Cro Mags and Sick of it All. While details are still sketchy, the show has been shut down following a stabbing.

According to Horns Up Rocks, a concertgoer was stabbed in the eye during Absolution’s set. They had just gone on following Vision of Disorder (Sai Nam also played). Another unconfirmed report said that someone ran out of the dressing room covered in blood. Violence marred the early days of the New York hardcore scene, and it look like some grudges might not have died. We’ll bring you more information as we get it.
