HOLY SHIT! Faith No More Playing Brooklyn!

We Care A Lot

UPDATE: The New York Times reports that the show will be held at North 8th and Kent Avenue, for the New Yorkers reading this. The actual on-sale date for the show is noon on March 19 at ticketmaster.com.

If we’re to believe the Twitter account of Faith No More bassist Billy Gould, the band will be playing a show in New York at the Williamsburg Waterfront on July 5. There will be a presale for the show this coming Tuesday, March 16.  Faith No More reunited last year for some foreign shows, but this will be the first time they’ve been back on the East Coast since they broke up in 1998.

As you can tell from the headline, we’re pretty psyched about it. I mean, not just because Faith No More is coming to the city, but also because this will be a welcome break from the hipster-rific parade of crappy indie rock bands that usually play in Williamsburg. It will kick off the Summer concert series in Brooklyn, and if past performance is indicative of future results, will be the only show of interest there. 4th of July weekend plans complete!

It is not long ago when I discussed that topic with just the same outcome. It s a topic challenging for discussions anyway. Interesting issues you took into account for argumentation
