What A Tease

This past Friday night (November 4), Eddie Trunk played an audio snippet of That Metal Show’s recent interview with Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose and DJ Ashba on his Q104.3 FM radio show Friday Night Rocks. Before playing the clip, Trunk also chatted with fellow That Metal Show co-host Jim Florentine about the interview, and both confirmed that the interview will air on VH1 Classic as its own special this coming Friday (November 11). Florentine also revealed that the special will include a clip of Guns N’ Roses performing “Live And Let Die” at their show on October 29 in Miami, FL.

To be honest, the audio clip Trunk played on the air isn’t all that interesting (it’s mainly Axl talking about how he stays in shape for concerts). However, it’s pretty cool to hear Trunk and Florentine recall the experience (having to wait about 15 hours for the interview to take place), and the clip is a nice teaser for the full interview. You can hear audio of Trunk and Florentine’s discussion, as well as the snippet of the interview itself, in the video above.
