It’s pretty safe to say you can’t get any more badass than Iron Maiden. Who else releases an album and goes on tour right after their frontman recovers from cancer? And on said tour fly their own plane? That’s right. You can’t. Stop trying. But their plane, Ed Force One, has been a big topic of discussion of late. Between it actually being the band’s main means of transportation, and being damaged on the runaway in Chile- it’s kinda a big deal. To top it off, it’s going to be made into a model plane. You can have your very own Ed Force One! It’ll be a Boeing 747, on a 1:144 scale. It’ll come as a kit, according to Global Merchandising Services licensing manager Jens Drinkwater. While there’s no official release date yet, you have to admit you want it. It’ll be the most metal holiday present of the 21st century.
