Sebastian Bach Films Cameo, Anthrax And Vio-Lence Posters Featured In “Rock Of Ages”

Are you really that surprised that Sebastian Bach would make a cameo in the film version of the Broadway musical Rock of Ages? I mean, seriously, we’re talking about the guy who’ll take any opportunity to be seen with bands on a stage, on a TV screen, or even in a bar. Plus, did you see the picture of Tom Cruise?

Well surprised or not, the ex-Skid Row singer will be making a cameo in the film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Rock Of Ages. Bach posted the picture up top of him and Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt on the set of the film on Facebook, along with the following caption:

“Evil Rock Singers Burn In Hell . On the set in Miami shooting “Rock Of Ages” all night with Nuno Bettencourt , some nuns, bikers, & rockers all on an amazing set that looks exactly like Hollywood. No midgets though, sadly”

Wait a second, I thought Cruise was suppose to play the washed up rock star? All kidding aside, it’s kind of cool to see a Hollywood adaptation of the musical, which uses 80’s hair metal/rock songs from bands like Bon Jovi, Journey, Poison and others, actually feature some of hair metal’s elite (even if it is only for a quick cameo).

In other related news, a picture from the set of Rock Of Ages tweeted by @mikakiki this past weekend shows something pretty cool: reproduced Anthrax and Vio-Lence concert posters. One of the posters features the cover artwork to Fistful Of Metal. Now the chances are that these posters probably won’t be all that visible to the screen. It’s not even clear as to what scene (or scenes) this is taken from, Nonetheless, it’s pretty cool to see the film (somewhat) including heavier acts like Anthrax, let alone Vio-lence. You can check out the tweeted picture (which was re-tweeted by Scott Ian himself) after the jump.
