Versus Me guitarist struck by lightning at Packers game

Posted by on December 22, 2014

We haven’t written much about WI Metalcore band Versus Me before. And they probably wouldn’t have been on our radar if their guitarist Clint Greendeer wasn’t struck by lightning after the Green Bay Packers game yesterday! The band’s vocalist James Milbrandt reached out to us with the following update:

Clint Greendeer and his brother won an all expenses paid trip to Tampa for the Packers/Buccaneers game. After the game, Clint, his brother, and 5 other people were hit by lightning right outside the stadium.  He suffered minor injuries and is doing just fine.

Wow, that’s one hell of a close call. On the band’s Facebook page, Greendeer posted from his hospital bed, where the lightning strike apparently caused him to lose his ability to spell. Thankfully, he’s ok. If you want to familiarize yourself  with the band, here’s their song “(A) Tension,” which features Craig Mabbitt from Escape the Fate.
