Rage Against the Machine singer Zack de la Rocha has been pretty out of the spotlight in recent years, but that will change with the release of his first solo album coming in 2017. While he released a track from it earlier this year, the last time we got to hear his familiar voice spit rhymes was on Run The Jewels’ “Close Your Eyes (and Count to Fuck)” from their 2014 release Run the Jewels 2. On Christmas Day, the rap duo, consisting of Killer Mike and El-P, surprise-released RTJ3, which is available for free download and to purchase. For the album’s last track, “A Report To The Shareholders / Kill Your Masters,” the duo brought back de la Rocha for a verse, and not surprisingly, he kills it. El-P will produce the vocalist’s forthcoming album, so you probably haven’t heard the last of the three teaming up.
