Last year, The Body and Thou went on tour together. They got along so well that they recorded an album with each other. Titled You, Whom I Have Always Hated, the album isn’t a split – The Body, from Portland, and Thou, from Louisiana, fully collaborated with each other for the album, which will be out on January 27th on Thrill Jockey. When the two sludge bands were on tour, they’d performed a cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Terrible Lie” that got some traction on the intervwebs when a video of it went up, so it made sense that the two bands reprise it on the album.
