Trivium’s Matt Heafy to perform on Caliban album

Posted by on December 13, 2013

Caliban_BandIt can’t be said that Trivium frontman Matt Heafy doesn’t have a diverse metal palate. I mean, sure, David Draiman produced Vengeance Falls, which is the band’s most commercial album yet. But he’s also getting Ihsahn to produce his solo album, and his top ten of the year includes releases by Gorguts, Chthonic and Ulcerate. Also adding to his metal cred is that he’ll be appearing on the new Caliban album, Ghost Empire. He’ll be on the track “Falling Downwards,” which will be a bonus track on the album. That’ll be coming out on February 4 on Century Media. The word came out via the German metalcore band’s Facebook, stating “We are very proud and happy to let you finally know that our good friend Matthew Heafy of the mighty Trivium is doing guest vocals on “Falling Downwards.”
