Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

With the week we’ve had so far involving the bizarre story behind the “band,” Threatin, we needed a few laughs. Thanks to Tenacious D’s new album Post-Apocalypto taking over the charts, it reminds us about the time when they took home the Grammy for Best Metal Performance.
