Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.
I can’t pretend that I care much about Whitesnake, but I gotta say they’ve found an impressive excuse to release three consecutive compilations. Last year saw the release of The Rock Album and Love Songs. Now we’ve got The Blues Album. I didn’t even know Whitesnake ever played anything close to the blues. I had them pegged in your standard hard rock/glam realm but I guess you learn something new every day.
