Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.
Happy late 4th, hope you left a copy of the Declaration of Independence out under your American Flag Tree so that Nicholas Cage can come steal it and leave a copy of one of his movies (most likely The Wicker Man). Any who, I spent a few minutes trying to find another word that rhymes with ‘Gizzard”, “Lizard”, and “Wizard”, but it turns out those are pretty much the main three. “Scissored” is another one, but I don’t know how to properly implement that and the word alone will probably cause people to snicker. The point is that King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard’s second album of 2017 is our top debut for this week, followed closely by Dying Fetus.
The band’s tenth album lands them their best debut yet. It topped their predecessor from back in March
and is the second in a trilogy of album’s begin released in 2017.
Dying Fetus’ eighth album is their highest charting yet. Did you check out our review
If Iron Reagan wasn’t enough for you, here’s a new Municipal Waste album debuting in the top 50.
Goatwhore’s latest charts higher but sells a little lower than their previous album
The band’s seventh LP is the second studio album to be released following 2012’s reunion.
This is the band’s debut album.
This is the band’s second LP.

This is up by 28%.
