Metal By Numbers 8/8: Halestorm get vicious on the charts

Posted by on August 8, 2018

Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

It’s only been three years since Halestorm’s last album, but for whatever reason it feels like it’s been a lot longer. They’re one of those bands that were blowing up right around the time I started writing for this website back in 2012, so it’s been interesting watching their sales performance since then now that they’re one of the bigger modern rock bands. Also noteworthy this week is Dee Snider with a new solo album, which marks the shortest gap between Snider’s solo album releases (his first was in 2000, then 2012 and 2016).
