Metal Inside(r) Home Quarantine is Metal Insider’s new column during this time of isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We asked artists five questions on what’s been keeping them busy ranging from their favorite movies, food they’ve been eating, music they’ve been listening to and more. We caught up with Entry vocalist Sara Gregory as she’s been spending this time working from home.

What have you been doing to pass time during Quarantine?

I’ve been working a lot still, mostly from home. Outside of work, mostly I am just hanging out at home with my partner and dog. I’ve definitely been trying to do more to help my local community during this time as well.

Have you been listening to any music or have any playlists worth checking out?

There’s a new record from the band Primitive Blast that I really like a lot. Enemy from LA put out a few songs in May that are super good. Also the new Hum record. Otherwise I kinda just listen to years of my favorite songs on shuffle.

A lot of people have been spending this time cooking including making their own bread, what food have you been prepping during this time?

A lot of smoothies considering I’ve had to get a few teeth out throughout these past few months. We made a vegan shepards pie that was pretty excellent. Mostly, I just make something like tofu and veggies or something pretty easy.

In terms of entertainment, what movies, TV shows, books, or games have been keeping you busy?

So I just finally watched the last two Fast and the Furious movies which are wild. Definitely just watched other random movies here and there. I recently binged three seasons of the show Alone, watched all of Schitt’s Creek, Broadchurch, some Unsolved Mysteries…I can’t remember but definitely a million other shows. Baseball exhibition games just started, so I’ll be watching ball games every night for the foreseeable future. I was reading a bit before the pandemic but kinda stopped since It started. I feel like I am always reading the news or educational materials online. I listen to a lot of podcasts, most notably: This American Life, Trivilaity (best trivia podcast), The Bechdel cast (comical feminist movie reviews), Three Swings Podcast (Rhea Butcher’s baseball podcast), and How Did This Get Made.

What advice do you have for your fans in isolation during this time?

Try to keep yourself and everyone around you safe. Use this time to do something good if you can.
