Most know Kari Rueslåtten as the founding frontwoman of  Norwegian metal band  The 3rd and the Mortal as well as her catalog of solo work. However, since the beginning of Kari’s solo career in 1997, she has released 5 albums as a singer/songwriter. And her first album in eight years, Time Will Tell (out now via Despotz Records), is an 11-song solo acoustic piano record. As a metal artist who has ventured down the singer/songwriter path, we asked Kari to fill us in on some of her favorite releases from metal artists who have put out music that is quite the opposite.
