2. Gummo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6a0w6B4EIoSpeaking of disturbing films, Harmony Korine’s directorial debut Gummo was an almost plotless film about the teenage residents of a tornado-stricken Ohio town in the ‘70s. The soundtrack ran the gamut from folk to black metal, with Burzum, Bathory, Eyehategod, Mortician and Sleep among the bands contributing music to the soundtrack. While songs by Roy Orbison and Madonna played a part in the film, they didn’t make it to the soundtrack, likely for financial reasons.
