Yes, the band’s sophomore album is a black metal record, but it’s got more in common with shoegaze guitar rock bands like Mogwai and Godspeed You! Black Emporer. The album’s title track is a sprawling, 10-minute soundscape that’s damn near soothing in its intensity.
