5. Abigail Williams Reform…Five Months After Disbanding

Black metal band Abigail Williams had a pretty good run for 8 years, but after releasing Becoming last year, announced that they were breaking up. They then booked a farewell tour that lasted for almost a month and a half. After that tour fell apart, they booked a handful of DIY shows. Things must have gone pretty well as they worked through their adversity, because not only did they announce a new album would be coming out this year, but former keyboardist Ashley Ellyllon rejoined the band. It’s less of a reunion than it is a decision not to break up, but that’s close enough, and also pretty bizarre.
