Metal Insider’s Top 5: “Reunion Albums” we wish would become a reality

It’s been 13 years since Emperor’s last album, and since then, Ihsahn has gone on to a pretty rewarding solo career. But the news that the band would be reuniting for this year’s Wacken fest definitely excited fans of the black metal band. It would be fascinating to hear what an Emperor album would sound like so long after they put another one out. They would definitely have a lot more influences to pull from, and it would be hard to predict what an album from them would sound like. But we’d be pretty anxious to hear it regardless.
