1. Madonna performs riff of “A New Level”:

On May 10, 2008, the late Dimebag Darrell received a tribute from an unlikely person: Madonna. During her set at Radio One’s Big Weekend festival in the UK, the Material Girl played the riff to “A New Level” at the end of her song “Hung Up.” It caused quite a stir in the metal community at the time, but still is pretty cool to think that Madonna even heard of Pantera.
