It is a Huge Catalyst for Growing Your Band – Signing with a label like Victory has almost instantly allowed us to land better tours, endorsements, placement on lineups, and a huge amount of other things that would have otherwise taken a band like us a huge amount of time to achieve. We’re not 18 anymore, and I’ve been doing this for a very long time so the immediate, huge forward movement is incredibly exciting.

Take these points with a grain of salt. None of this is meant to be taken as braggadocio. There are certainly bands that have achieved huge success on their own, and there will continue to be bands that do that. I only know my situation, and the things that being signed to a good label have brought me.

Don’t rush to get signed. Getting on a label should never be the priority, and you should never compromise or play the game just to achieve that. Take time and wait until you find yourself surrounded by a team of people that believe in you, and who you feel comfortable working with. That’s what we found with Victory, and it has been incredibly rewarding.
