Why should major label bands be the only ones who get love? Unsigned & Streamed is a column where we stream a song from an unsigned band we at Metal Insider really dig.

This week we’re proud to put the spot light on Toronto, Canada’s very own Dancing With Paris. The five piece band have been making a name for themselves in Canada’s metal/ hardcore scene since releasing their EP There’s Something In The Water in 2009. In the past two years, they’ve played  4 of Ontario’s largest metal festivals and have shared the stage with bands like We Came As Romans, Protest The Hero, Baptized In Blood, Vanna and many others. On top of that, their debut full length album The Drought debuted at #2 on iTunes metal charts when it was released in early 2011. Dancing With Paris’ blend of hardcore and metal roots reminds us of early Darkest Hour with a hint of Every Time I Die. Without further ado, give the song “Single Serving Friend,” off of Dancing With Paris’ album The Drought, a listen in the stream below.
