Why should major label bands be the only ones who get love? Unsigned & Streamed is a new column where we stream a song from an unsigned band we at Metal Insider really dig.

For those who may not remember, we ran a little contest/series a while back called No Label Needed, where 20 unsigned bands battled it out for some awesome opportunities to further their stance as a DIY band. While Iron Thrones were chosen as the winners, the contest featured a lot of amazing talent with spectacular promise, including San Francisco’s Scourched-Earth Policy.

Since forming in 1998, this four piece group has been making a name for themselves in the San Fran Bay Area scene, having shared the stage with the likes of Prong, Strapping Young Lad, Superjoint Ritual, Full Blown Chaos, and countless others. And now, the band is about to unleash their new album Millennial Delusions. Scorched-Earth Policy’s new album will please both old school and new school thrash metal fans, resembling Bay Area legends like Testament and Exodus but with a modern flare. However, while it won’t be available in all outlets until Tuesday, November 8 (though it is currently on sale via CDBaby.com), we’re giving you the chance to hear the new album in its entirety. So give Millennial Delusions a listen in the Soundcloud player below.

Keep in mind, though, that we’re only streaming the entire album for a limited time. So if you like what you hear, either go to CDBaby.com and purchase the album now, or make sure to pick up a copy in any store or digital outlet on November 8. You can keep up to date on Scorched-Earth Policy via their website and Facebook page.

If you’re in an unsigned band and would like to participate in Unsigned & Streamed, email a link to your band’s music and a brief bio to tips [at] metalinsider.com for consideration.
