Unsigned & Streamed: Wings Denied

Mirrors For A Prince coverWhy should major label bands be the only ones who get love? Unsigned & Streamed is a column where we stream a song from an unsigned band we at Metal Insider really dig.

This week, we’re spotlighting Wings Denied. Based out of Washington D.C., this progressive metal outfit has been touring the country nonstop, and has shared stages with the likes of All That Remains, Darkest Hour, Diecast, and many others. With two EPs under its belt, Wings Denied teamed up with producer extraordinaire Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, Scale The Summit) to record their full-length debut Mirrors For A Prince. As a result, Wings Denied has crafted a refreshing progressive metal album that displays as much technicality as it does harmonies, much like modern prog juggernauts like Periphery and TesseracT.

Check out the recently premiered lyric video for “The Machinist” below. Wings Denied is currently in the midst of touring in support of Mirrors For A Prince. You can check out the band’s upcoming dates and plans via Facebook.
