We’ve seen Trivium perform an acoustic rendition of “Built To Fall,” but we didn’t necessarily expect to see this. During a three song acoustic set for 103.1 The Buzz (WPBZ) in West Palm Beach, FL., the members of Trivium performed a stripped down rendition of the title track off of Iron Maiden’s self-titled debut album. While it’s not a song you’d expect any band to perform acoustically, Trivium did originally cover “Iron Maiden” for Kerrang! Magazine’s tribute album Maiden Heaven: A Tribute To Iron Maiden. Plus, an acoustic cover of Iron Maiden from Trivium seems more fitting than one from Ryan Adams.

You can watch Trivium’s acoustic performance of “Iron Maiden” in the clip above, while their acoustic renditions of “Built To Fall” and “Dying In Your Arms” can be seen after the jump.
