This past weekend, new NYC comedy club The Stand played host to two of Metal Insider’s CMJ events. First, our listening party, where Candlelight, Frostbyte, and Roadrunner supplied the music, then That Metal Show co-host Don Jamieson interviewed Vision of Disorder’s Tim Williams and Mike Kennedy for an interview that’ll run here next week. After the party, we presented a night of comedy that included Jamieson and his TMS c-ohost Jim Florentine.

It’s great to see that the club is continuing to embrace the metal. In fact, this weekend, Big Jay Oakerson, who you’ve seen on the Mayhem Fest and hosting the Jagermeister Music tour, will be headlining at the club on Friday and Saturday.
