The Nashville RIDE FOR DIME local benefit show is taking place on October 5th in honor of the mighty Dimebag Darrell Abbott. Proceeds will go toward the nonprofit Ride For Dime, which supports music education for kids and includes a scholarship fund to allow kids to pursue music, as well as tolocal charity Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue.
The show is headlined by Sevendust, but also features several prominent up and coming bands, including Nashville’s Voodoo Prophet and Hell Head, Scranton’s Digital Collapse, Chicago’s Habit of Force, and Scottsville’s BeyonDuplication. Also in attendance will be Sirius XM’s Jose Mangin and Luc Carl, “Dimebagz Hag” Rita Haney, Ride For Dime President Rob Eichelberger, Nick Bowcott of Grim Reaper, and Jasin Todd of Shinedown/Fuel. The event kicks off with a motorcycle parade down to Nashville Center Stage and will also include raffles, silent auctions, and a VIP Meet & Greet opportunity with Sevendust!
