Yesterday was Veteran’s Day, and for the first time, there was a three-hour concert, The Concert For Valor, to commemorate the holiday. The three-hour concert in Washington D.C. featured a who’s who of artists, including The Black Keys, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Grohl, Eminem and Metallica. Introduced by Jack Black, Metallica ripped through a 20 minute set that included “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” “Master of Puppets” and “Enter Sandman.” The entire show was broadcast on HBO, and while it wasn’t without its share of controversy, everyone can agree that Metallica did our vets proud.
