If you live in the midwest, or are willing to travel for cool festivals, you may know about the open air festival Full Terror Assault in Illinois. The festival started last year and had a very good initial lineup with headliners like Obituary, Napalm Death, Terrorizer and many other domestic bands worth the time and money. With the success of its first edition, the festival is gearing up for their sophomore comeback, and the lineup this year will be stacked.
Full Terror Assault are going as big as they can with bands like Rotten Sound, Shining (Swe), Sacred Reich, Lock Up and more. The festival will take place in Cave In Rock, IL between August 25th-27th and you can tickets for the open air party right now at this location. The fest hypes about its second conception saying:
Many fans have never had the chance to attend an event like this so if your thinking about coming out this year, please do, you won’t be disappointed just ask anyone who came out in 2015. Here is what you will find within. An amazing scenic wooded camping area right on festival grounds on over 100 acres with lakes and a beach, your not pitching your tent in a cornfield. Three(3) days of all things metal on 3 stages with bands representing all genres of music including grind core, death metal, punk, hardcore, thrash, shock rock, black metal and anything with attitude. If that isn’t enough FTA will have campsite contests, costume contests, metal market with vendors, food vendors after parties with bands and a DJ to keep the party going all night. This event is designed to bring bands, vendors, and fans together for a celebration of extreme music without breaking your wallet. MAXIMUM [email protected] FRUGALITY!!!! See you in August.
