Some details of the third US installment of Knotfest are trickling out. The 2015 Knotfest will once again be a three-day event (like 2014, photos here), and will take place on October 23rd, 24th, and 25th, at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA.
Slipknot’s Shawn “Clown” Crahan explained to Rolling Stone back in 2012 the reasoning behind starting Knotfest:
“It’s all about having fun and bringing something to the world of rock & roll, bringing it to the standard it used to be. It’s time for us to really engulf this idea known as Knotfest where we’re in control, we make a day devoted to our mindset, our ideas, the people that we want to play with, the people that we think our fans want to be around.”
More details for Knotfest 2015 should be coming soon, like the daily line-up. The title of the Knotfest splash page says, “Tickets on Sale THIS MONDAY,” which would be June 1st, but the text on the website says that tickets will go on sale, “Monday June 29.”
