According to the festival’s Facebook page, an L.A. Rising Festival is being planned for August 2014. This would insinuate that Rage Against the Machine plan to get together for at least one performance for the date, since it is in fact their festival. The band reunited in 2011 for the effort in a hometown stand with bands such as Muse and Rise Against. So far, the 2014 lineup has not been announced, but we are hoping that the original Rage lineup will reunite for the showing.

The posting on the festival’s official Facebook page assures:

Plans for L.A. RISING 2014 are underway. August 2014 may seem distant, but THE ROAD TO L.A. RISING will NOT be barren. More info to come…
