Periphery, TesseracT, Andrew Dice Clay Among Bamboozle Additions

When The Bamboozle announced that Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters, and Blink 182 were headlining this year, it made it clear that the festival was continuing the tradition of having bizarre lineups. This was later reaffirmed when Skrillex, Incubus and Mac Miller were later confirmed as headliners as well. And last night at midnight, Bamboozle held a #MidnightMadness event where 60 bands announced their participation in this year’s festival via Twitter. How random is the billing shaping up to be, you ask?

Well, you have your typical Bamboozle bands like All-American Rejects and Jimmy Eat World, and even Emmure. Then there’s a few metalcore groups like Whitechapel, and some djent this year, with Periphery, and TesseracT on the bill. But it wouldn’t be a Bamboozle without some oddball additions thrown into the mix. While Andrew Dice Clay and Paulie D from the Jersey Shore will make you scratch your head, the real surprise for us comes from ex-Hanoi Rocks’ frontman Michael Monroe.

And the crazy thing is that there are still at least 40 more bands left to be announced. Plus, the slot next to Bon Jovi on the festival’s last night is titled as “Linc’s Very Special Guest,” and as proven by the previous two nights, it really could be any band. Yet this year’s bill already promises a little something for everybody. Whether you’re the pop punk fan who’s all grown up, the soccer mom with a wild past, the 14 year old screamo fanatic, or even a trashy reality TV show fan, there’s likely at least one (if not more) acts appearing on this year’s Bamboozle that would interest you.
