Korn’s Dubstep Album Apparently Gets Title And Release Date

Posted by on August 29, 2011

In case you already forgot, Korn have been collaborating with several producers, including Skrillex, Kill The Noise, Excision, and 12th Planet,  for the heavily dubstep-influenced material. What was supposed to be just an EP then turned into a full length album. So far, we’ve only heard Korn’s collaboration with Skrillex called “Get Up!” But thanks to fan sites, we may know a lot more about the Kornstep album.

According to the fan site Kornspace, the new album will be titled The Path To Totality and will be released on November 15. Song titles also apparently include “Burn The Obedient” “Illuminati,” “Kill Mercy Within,” “Narcissistic Cannibal,” and “Chaos Lives In Everything.” It should be noted, though, that neither the band nor their label Roadrunner Records has confirmed this.

While all of this has been flying around the web, frontman Jonathan Davis posted a remix of “Get Up!” done by AutoErotique on Soundcloud. Fair warning, if you didn’t like the original version of the song, then you’ll HATE the remix (unless you really love electronic). But go ahead and listen for yourself down below. Personally, we hope the rest of the album doesn’t sound like this:
