It’s being reported that Mick “MickDeth” Morris, best known for his time as bassist in Eighteen Visions, has died. According to Alt. Press and various sources, Morris passed away in his sleep yesterday (June 2) from a pre-existing heart condition and had supposedly been in and out of the hospital recently. Morris was 35 years old.

Morris started off playing guitar in vegan straight edge hardcore group Clear before joining Eighteen Visions in 2000. After Eighteen Visions disbanded in 2007, and appearing on their last three studio albums, Morris toured as a tech for Hatebreed, worked for Century Media Records and the Sumerian Records-owned SoundCheck Hollywood, and also launched Dethless Clothing. He also performed in the Misfits tribute band Die Die My Darling, which also featured Bleeding Through’s Brandan Schieppati.

Morris leaves behind his young son, Jude.
