Didn’t get your fill of Clutch with last year’s Earth Rocker? You can look forward to something new from the band in the near future as they are currently recording a song for a 7″ to be released on Record Store Day, April 19. The band are recording in Baltimore, MD at Magpie Cage Recording Studio with veteran producer J. Robbins. The song in question is “Run, John Barleycorn, Run.” In case you didn’t know, “John Barleycorn” is  a British folk song that’s basically about cultivating barley but makes it sound violent by personifying the crops as John Barleycorn, making it seem like they die as they are reaped.

But you probably don’t care about that. You just want the new Clutch 7.” The band has posted a really short teaser on Instagram of them in the studio that you can watch below.
