Faith No More posted a few photos from the studio today on their Facebook page. Titled as simply, “Studio Shots,” the photos are of drummer Mike Bordin and bassist Billy Gould, who is also producing the album.

It’s been reported that the album will be recorded in the band’s Oakland, CA rehearsal space, but these photos came without commentary, so we can only assume that’s where these photos were taken.

The new album will be released on Reclamation Records and distributed through Ipecac Recordings, the label co-founded by Faith No More vocalist Mike Patton and Greg Werckman. Faith No More will release a 7″ for the song “Motherfucker” on Black Friday, November 28, as part of this year’s Record Store Day. This will be the band’s first release since the 1997 release of Album of the Year.
