It’s been about two years since The Black Dahlia Murder released Ritual. And yesterday, the Detroit metal group entered Audiohammer Studios with Daath guitarist Eyal Levi to start work on album number six. But while fans were going gaga over the fact that they were merely recording, The Black Dahlia Murder did one better by revealing more details about the new album.

Late last night, the band posted the image above on Facebook, confirming the following two things:

1. The new album will be titled Everblack.

2. It’ll be released in June 2013.

The group also promised that more information and album artwork would be revealed shortly. While Metal Injection reports that The Black Dahlia Murder has indeed found a full-time drummer to record the album, it’s unclear if said-new guy is Alan Cassidy (who has been filling in on the road following Shannon Lucas’ departure). Either way, we’re just excited that we get to hear a new Black Dahlia Murder album this summer! And just in time for their stint on this year’s Warped Tour.
