On October 31, a gala was held by the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund at the Avalon nightclub in L.A. Eric Blair of “The Blairing Out With Eric Blair Show” was there to interview some of the attendees, including a recent addition to the Century Media family: Buckcherry.

In the video interview, Buckcherry’s own Stevie D. and Xavier Muriel talk not only about what a big influence Ronnie James Dio was, but also about what’s in store for their band in the upcoming months. This includes a new album coming out in Februrary 2013, which will be named Confessions and accompanied by a short film. Also, they will be doing even more of the extensive touring they love so much, and which earned them their nickname as “road dogs”.

Being the event it was, they also talk about their personal experiences with the big C, and why they think that raising awareness for it is so important, especially among young men who might just be too proud to get themselves checked out regularly.
