napalm conspiracyMax Cavalera has been pretty busy with both Soulfly and his supergroup Killer Be Killed. But it appears he’s still making time for his brother Igor and the Cavalera Conspiracy, for they’ve just signed a new worldwide deal with Napalm Records.

After releasing its first two albums through Roadrunner, Cavalera Conspiracy will release its third effort via Napalm. Max had the following to say about signing to the Austrian based label:

“I am so excited that Cavalera Conspiracy has signed with Napalm Records.  This is gonna be our third album and it’s going to be a brutal grind-core style. I am already working on the riffs, and it is going to come out next year.  Get ready to be brutalized by Cavalera Conspiracy and Napalm Records!”

Igor had the following to add about the new album and their new label home:

“I am very excited to record the new CC record… Me and Max have been planning this for a while, and all I can say is that it will be a ‘Brutal’ record.  Also I’m super proud to join Napalm Records, home of lots of amazing artists.”

While it had been known that they wouldn’t be re-signing with Roadrunner, it is a tad surprising that Cavalera Conspiracy didn’t follow Max’s other two bands and sign with Nuclear Blast. However, this is still a solid move on CC’s part, given the success Napalm has recently had with another band that jumped from Roadrunner (DevilDriver). While we can expect a new Cavalera Conspiracy album soon, no word on when the White Stripes-esque project with James Murphy will ever see the light of day.
