MetalSucks had speculated that Between The Buried And Me would sign with Metal Blade Records a while ago, and it especially seemed likely to happen since frontman Tommy Rogers solo project was released through the label. But now it’s official: Between The Buried And Me has made Metal Blade Record’s their official label home. BTBAM’s first release through Metal Blade will come with The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues, set to be released on April 12.

Guitarist Paul Waggoner had the following to say about the new partnership:

“We are delighted in the opportunity to join the Metal Blade family. Their commitment to heavy music over the years is inspiring and we look forward to becoming a part of the ever-growing legacy of the label. Our new release, titled The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues will hit the streets in April. We are confident that our dedicated fans will appreciate it and hopeful that we will gain the attention of some new ears as well. In closing, I’d like to reference a quote from the illustrious Joe Dirt: ‘Life’s a garden, dig it.’”

The announcement comes after BTBAM’s contract with longtime label Victory Records came to an end (though the label plans to release a BTBAM greatest hits compilation on March 29). The band has been reportedly working on a new EP, which is believed to be The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues, for a while now. But now we know that we won’t have to wait for new BTBAM music much longer! A teaser for The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues can be seen above.
