As if things couldn’t get worst for Adema. Just last week, the recently reunited nu-metal group Adema parted ways (again) with vocalist Mark Chavez. They were planning to continue their tour with their guitarist Tim Fluckey and bassist Dave DeRoo swapping vocal duties, but now the band has a bigger problem: namely, an arrested bassist.

Right before the band was to take the stage at The Webster Theatre in Hartford, CT last Saturday night, DeRoo was arrested for a previous DUI sentence in California. The Hartford Courant reports that DeRoo was charged with being a fugitive from justice and held on a $1 million bond. He reportedly was charged with a DUI in January of 2008 after causing bodily injury while under the influence, but a warrant for his arrest was requested by the Kern County probation department in June 2010, indicating a probation violation.

Talk about a bad way to remind people that your band is still around. And despite being a “rock star,” you can bet he probably won’t receive as good of a deal as Vince Neil.
