Gene Simmons managed Liza Minelli

Judy Garland’s daughter Liza Minelli has had a very successful career as a singer, dancer and actress. She’s also had a storied dating career, having dated Peter Sellers, Martin Scorcese, Desi Arnaz, Jr., and yes, Gene Simmons. In the late ’80s, Simmons became her “recording manager,” signing her to Epic Records. She inexplicably made an album, Results, with the Pet Shop Boys. While it was relatively successful in the UK, the album stiffed here. Simmons managed Minelli for several more years.
