For the past year, the future of CKY seemed to be up in the air. Tension between vocalist/guitarist Deron Miller and his bandmates seemed to be high, and it appeared that CKY’s Christmas show and Soundwave appearances in Australia were going to be their last. As it turns out, though, CKY will continue on… without Miller.

During their recent Soundwave shows, CKY had Year Long Disaster frontman/ guitarist Daniel Davies playing in place of Miller. And in an interview with The Pit FM (as seen above), CKY confirmed that they were hoping to move forward and record music with Davies. It should also be noted that drummer Jesse Margera plays drums in Davies’ solo group.

So there you have it: CKY lives on but without frontman/ co-founder Deron Miller, at least for now. You can watch CKY’s interview with The Pit FM above. Fan filmed footage of the band performing with their new member during Soundwave’s stop in Sydney, Australia can be seen after the jump.
