From First To Last, who many know as the band that spawned both Skrillex (Sonny Moore) and Travis Richter, who sang with The Human Abstract, promised a lot of surprises when it came to their Kickstarter-funded comeback EP. They’re definitely delivering on that front. In a video announcement posted on Alternative Press, guitarists Matt Good and Travis Richter introduced Spencer Sotelo of Periphery as their new lead vocalist for the upcoming album and also premiered a clip of Sotelo performing the 2006 FFTL hit, “The Latest Plague,”   Formerly, the band had been fronted by Good, who juggled both vocals and guitars.

This isn’t the first time Periphery and FFTL have crossed paths – their newly announced guitarist and producer for the album, Taylor Larson, was the engineer and mixing producer for Periphery’s self-titled record back in 2010.

Travis Richter stated that Sotelo will continue to be a part of Periphery as well as From First To Last.
