Bassist of Testament leaves same tour bassist of Lamb of God left

Greg ChristianIt looks like Lamb of God isn’t the only metal band on tour that’s suddenly missing their bassist.  In fact, on the same tour, Testament’s Greg Christian had to back out for their remaining dates for “family matters,” as stated by guitarist Alex Skolnick on Twitter. “Not to make lite of that, but 1st LOG, now us?,” he added.  Jack Gibson of Exodus stepped in for Christian for the first time on Tuesday in Milwaukee. Skolnick said everything should be fine with Greg; him leaving was only “minor/precautionary.” Gibson will fill in for Christian for the remaining dates of the tour, which lasts through Tuesday (26) in Maryland.

Matt Devries of Fear Factory had been filling in for Lamb of God’s bassist, John Campbell.  Much like Christian, Campbell left the tour for personal family matters.  While Devries filled in until this past Saturday, reader Brad G. has brought to our attention that Aaron Patrick has been filling in on bass for Lamb Of God since then. Regardless, we’re guessing that Killswitch Engage’s Mike D’Antonio is frantically checking in with his family, making sure that everything is OK with them.
