Corey Taylor used as Jeopardy hint

Posted by on January 25, 2016

coreytaylorwhoJeopardy is one of the longest-running quiz shows in US television and they touch many subjects relevant to today’s culture to keep things going for as long as they have. With that in mind, it’s no surprise to see that at some point, they use any sort of reference to metal culture in the show, and that’s exactly what they did this week when they used Slipknot’s Corey Taylor as one of the hints for a question.

Twitter user @runwithskizzers snapped a picture of her TV showing one of the hints referencing to the frontman in relation to his participation in a Doctor Who episode:

The hint question refers to his Taylor’s guest appearance in the show as The Fisher King, where he lend his screams to the character.

We had not doubt about Corey’s success within the popular culture but when you take part of one of the longest British shows in history and are referenced in Jeopardy, you can safely say you made it big.
