Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider has been hard at work with a follow up to his 2018 solo record, For The Love Of MetalIn a recent Tweet, the frontman revealed that he has completed the vocals for the “brutal” 13 track album, but is not sure when Napalm Records will release the finished product.

FINISHED! Completed vocals on a (brutal) 13th track for my next album today with @jameyjasta at the helm! Due to Covid I’m not sure when @NapalmRecords will be releasing this record, but we are hard at work with overdubs and such and will have it ready in a matter of weeks!

Snider also mentioned that one of the tracks will focus on his experience with internet trolls.

Today I recorded a song inspired by my taking on trolls on social media. @jameyjasta & @charliebellmore came up with the idea & chorus lyrics for “Open Season” & I ran with it the rest of the way. No loss for words here. Opening line: “Hey mutha fucker are you kidding me?!”

In a response to a Twitter user mentioning Blabbermouth as a tabloid article, Snider responded:

Honestly, @BLABBERMOUTHNET is always fair and supportive with me. Other than the trolls who shit talk everything, I have no complaints. And those trolls aka pathetic losers are sadly everywhere.

Resuming his role as producer on the LP is Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta, as he originally helped inspire the previous 2018 record. Joining them again in the studio will be Nickey Bellmore, who will handle drums, engineering and mixing, while his brother Charlie Bellmore will focus on guitar responsibilities. Unfortunately, no single has been released but do yourself a favor and check out For The Love Of Metal below!
