Corey Taylor might be feeling down about all the Slipknot confusion that’s been going on lately, but he does have one thing going good for him. The Slipknot/Stone Sour singer recently recorded a Christmas song called “X-M@$,” and fans in the U.K. are trying to make sure that it hits the top of the charts.

In a similar campaign that made Rage Against The Machine’s “Killing in the Name Of” #1 for Christmas in the UK last year, fans are campaigning for Taylor’s new holiday song to top the charts this year. A Facebook fan page has been made in support of the campaign and to plead with fans to help it reach its goal. Last we checked, 5,479 people “liked” the page, and Taylor has shown his own support by providing links to the page via Twitter. Whether Taylor and fans will end up meeting their goal is yet to be seen, though it did work for Rage Against The Machine.

The single will be released digitally on December 12, and proceeds from it will go to the Teenage Cancer trust. Those who want to hear the song beforehand can listen to the Soundcloud stream below or watch the music video at Kerrang.com.
