When you think of Italian metal, there probably aren’t a ton of metal bands that come to mind. Of course there’s Lacuna Coil, but aside from Fleshgod Apocalypse and Rhapsody of Fire, there aren’t too many others that come to mind. Today, we’re proud to give you one more to add to the list. Forbidden Season. The metalcore quintet formed back in 2016, and released their first EP, Paramnesia, last year. 2017 also found them touring Russia and releasing a lyric video, but tomorrow (16), their first full length, Promise, will be released on This is Core Records.

Here’s what the band says about the album

Promise is our first full-length album. It focuses on people and all the promises never kept by them because of their selfishness… It’s also about hope, and the chance to catch it by following your own dreams. In this album we decided to use a heavier sound, representing the weight of the world on your shoulders. We’re so happy to share with you the stream of Promise, we hope you will love it and we can’t wait to release the album officially on March 16th! Let us know what you think about it!”

The album lives up to it’s name. The band show a lot of promise, and should they make it over to these shores to tour, will likely make countless new fans.  Promise will be released tomorrow (16) on This Is Core Records, and can be preordered here.
